Effects of Poor Light

What are the effects of poor light for cacti and succulents? Look for these symptoms:


Leaves exposed to direct sunlight turn pale and develop faded spots that turn dry and brown.

Affected leaves or body of the plant may turn increasingly pale.

What you should do:


Remove plant from direct sunlight in summer and relocate it to a place with partial sun. If the plant is indoors, you can install sheer curtains to filter light.

Allow the plant to heal and produce new growth.
