Succulent Wreath: Care & Decorating Tips

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

WATERING:

Water only when the moss base is completely dry. Immerse the wreath in water or by sprinkling. To keep the wreath fresh-looking, mist with a spray bottle.

SUNLIGHT:

Give the wreath plenty of bright natural sunlight. For entertaining purposes, you may bring the wreath indoors and then relocate it outside for a several hours of natural sun and air circulation. Avoid placing the wreath in direct sun as the succulents may burn.

FERTILZING:

During the growing season, begin fertilizing by using a balanced solution that contains nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The growing season is generally between March-October. Fertilizing will encourage new growth and proper nutrition.

TRIMMING:

To maintain the desired shape of the succulent wreath, you may trim the succulents with pruning shears or garden clippers. The wreath may take several months to a year before the succulents to grow out or lose its original shape. The best time to trim the succulent wreath is during the spring-summer. You can even propagate some of the leaves from such succulents as Echeverias.
